Introduced by Nintendo in 2007 in the video gameSuper Mario Galaxy, Captain Toad is the intrepid leader of the Toad Brigade, a group dedicated to searching for Super Stars. Unlike other members of his species, he is equipped with a headlamp and a particularly heavy explorer’s rucksack that prevents him from jumping.
